After Effect

Attended Comic Fiesta 2010 Day 1! It was great! I wouldn't compare it to the event last year since things are different every year, but there are several new artists this year! Two talented artists from Australia: Amei and Wretward! Another group of artists which I'm still trying to find out who they are (sad case, I know) They did really awesome concept arts and illustrations! Hoping to see them again next year!
Bought a black and white art book, some badges and eco badge from super-duper-I-can't-tell-you-how-awesome Kidchan! My only regret is didn't get any prints/postcards from her, and that she didn't sell colored art book.
Also purchased a mini sketchbook-notebook from my friend Tricia, though I have to admit, it was a lil expensive (ouch) but, hey! She's my friend! No regrets! (and later my mind vomit all over the book!)
I feel bad for my dear friend Kai 'cause I didn't buy anything from him, since he had already so generously given me the badges he was going to sell! Really really sorry for thanking you so late, can't explain how very very very happy I was when I received it! I'm afraid to pin them on my bag for fear they'll go missing or fall off. Gonna pin them to my hat/beanie when I go traveling!
Oh! And I also got myself a "Dollars"(of Durarara!) badge! I wanted to make one myself some time ago, seems there's no such need anymore~(something's wrong with my English!)
Oh! Remember I mentioned that my mind vomit all over the new book? Well, here they are, some nonsense here and there. I couldn't stop my hand (I still can't) the inspiration keeps coming! I have never feel so alive for weeks!

Cheers to Comic Fiesta and everyone else who made it such a great event! Thank you all!
Signing off for more doodles.

[EDIT]
OH! Finally figured out two of the awesome group of artists!(I think there are more.) Jing Hui and Syncmax!

Unproductive

I realized I have been sketching less and less for the pass week ever since finals are drawing closer. Can't blame it on anything but my own incompetent. My sketch book is glaring at me right now, sitting on a heap of scattered art books. Gonna tend to you soon, dear.

Just finished Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for the second time, and find myself using my brain in the wrong direction (am I?) Have been thinking about the words of the Goddess and unknown voice at the end, trying to figure out the reasons and meaning behind them. At the same time many possible plots of how the next franchise will be stuffed my mind to the brim. (trying not to bring any spoiler here) It's really fun to speculate your opinions, and compare them with other players out there, hearing their thoughts. There's just some many hidden puzzles in the game to figure out, both from the side quests and the storyline, I can't seem to put my brain to rest! Gonna play it again to figure out the hidden messages behind the characters dialogue and actions.

At the same time I'm having trouble on further my studies. Should I pick a university that affiliates with my college, with confirmed scholarship and two years of studies, but might not have my first choice of subject? Or other university/college that offers my choice of subject, but might not get scholarship and might even study more than two years? People say money is evil, but right now how I wish my family can have more of it. Than it would have saved all the hassle.

weird boy, dragon, and a whale(?)

Created him on a whim, and tried different face rendering for anime style. The whale was something I created back during my high school days, suddenly remember it after attending a workshop of Dweey. The dragon girl is one I doodled based on a dragon i did for my assignment.

Power plant 2

Re-painted over classmate's work.
Just let my mind run free without any planing at all, other than following the composition of original piece.

Aaaand, turned out with an ant/spider and jelly fish....
However, the setting is my country, and the most prominent element that represents my country is Malay culture (at the moment) thus made it into a mosque-liked structure.
Nothing is finalized, will continue to alter the mood when painting the final piece... Will edit this post once it's done.

Back to more doodles!

Mech-girl

Tried some mecha-elements. Not something I'm familiar with thus still needs lots of practices.
I have yet to name her (yes! her!) and yet to settle on her final design.

Power plant

Sketches done for an assignment. Post-apocalyptic setting of your hometown/country... with a massive power plant structure.
I didn't settle on the design until blocking in the gray scale.

End result:

Hello there!

Well, since this is the first post, guess I could start with some older doodles?

Some assignments...

I promise the future posts wouldn't be as image heavy!
