I just realized I went missing for a month on this place! Indulging myself and catching up on everything else ><
Anyway, here's some sketches of a new assignment I'm working on. The idea sparked when I was browsing through both God of War 3 and Tangled art books, hence the combination!
Rough concept:
A little village situated in a forest, where the populations are 90% satyr and 10% centaur. One day, our protagonist Jin (a centaur orphan) found an alien creature (later names Pasha) when he was collecting food in the forest. The creature has the ability to create illusions from the dark smoke that puff from its nostrils or mouth. Jin nursed Pasha back to health, and from the illusions understood that a disaster happened where Pasha lived, everyone fled in every direction.
But little did they know, one of Pasha's kind took refuge within a cave close to Jin's village, creating an illusion to every passers by to worship it as a higher being and bring it food. The worshipers never return.
